About me
I grew up in Belgium (Antwerpen) and studied Modern Languages there. In 1988 I graduated from High School in the United States and in 2002 I moved to Australia where I am now a permanent resident. I started my own full-time translation business in 2005 and am really enjoying it!
Qualifications
NAATI (National Accreditation Authority for Translators & Interpreters) in January 2003.
Prior to that I often translated as part of secretarial work, however I was not accredited.

Full-time since March 2005 as a freelance translator Dutch-English, English-Dutch. Various fields: medical, engineering, immigration documents, history, technical, subtitles
Part-time since July 2003 as a freelance translator (accredited) + since February 2002 as part of my position at the Belgian Consulate in Sydney, Australia.
Prior to 2002: translations as part of secretarial work: engineering brochures, medical reports.
